Ferrosilicon manganese
We offer low-phosphoric ferrosilicon manganese with content of max. P0,10% as well as ferrosilicon manganese with standard phosphorus content, namely max. P0,25%, and granulation 10-50, 10-80 and 3-10 mm. If you are interested in our offer, please call our headquarters in Wałbrzych or send us an inquiry via email.
Ferrosilicon manganese is produced in open type electric arc-resistance furnaces, it is made of manganese ores and quartzite as a result of manganous and silicon oxides reduction by carbon derived from charred and hard coal. It is employed for steel deoxidation and as an alloy addition. Deoxidation with silicon-manganese produces high-purity steel. Manganese increases deoxidant properties of silicon.
