Ferromanganese

Ferromanganese, ferroalloy with manganese content of 7% (usually 70-80%). Produced by application of electrothermic method in electric arc-resistance furnaces (low-carbon ferromanganese) or in iron blast furnaces (blast-furnace ferromanganese).
It is mainly used as an alloy addition and deoxidant in steel and cast iron melting process.
